Who isn’t sick of suffering from slow and expensive internet? Converge ICT, a veteran in the cable and fiber internet industries, knows the pain of sluggish connections, and has committed itself to providing affordable, reliable, and world-class fiber internet to homes, SMEs, and large businesses.
“Access to the Internet has accelerated recently as we are now amid digitalization,” said Dennis Anthony Uy, Converge ICT president and CEO. “That is why we are leveraging on the power of pure fiber technology so that all our clients can enjoy the full potentials of having an efficient and reliable connectivity.”
Currently, Converge boasts a 6,700 km long fiber optic cable network in Luzon and Metro Manila, growing by at least 2 km a day through their use of a special micro-trenching machine sourced from its construction subsidiary. The machine is only around two persons wide, lessening road obstructions, and is efficient enough to lay down cables and reblock concrete all in one go.
With most of their network infrastructure solely their own, Converge is able to provide very competitive prices for their services—all with no data caps. For the home, they’re offering up to 20, 50, and 100 Mbps plans at rates of PHP 1,500, 2,500, and 3,500 respectively; while for businesses, they’re offering 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 Mbps plans for prices of PHP 4,000, 6,000, 9,000, 12,000, and 15,000, respectively. The latter plans come with their own free webmail, web hosting, and unique public IP.
The company plans to further expand their reach in Luzon, and it is also planning to spend over PHP 2.7 billion pesos in order to link up with the islands of Visayas and Mindanao.
